Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, abbreviation: SFIE Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations, abbreviation: SFEO
Established in March 1993, Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics (SFIE) is an independent corporate body registered by Shanghai Society Bureau. From September 2008 SFIE simultaneously has used the name of Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFEO) in order to improve the service functions, develop the active effect of supporting Shanghai’s service-economy-oriented industrial structure adjustment, and promote the further development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries. The operation is supervised by Shanghai Economic and Information Committee.
SFEO (SFIE) is mainly composed of economics specialties associations, professional associations, economic organizations & unions, related enterprises (groups), economic research institutes, colleges & universities, and other non-profit social entity organizations organized by socialites of the economic field on a voluntary base. Shanghai Federation of Economic Organization (Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics) has more than 300 members, over 150 economic associations & professional associations members and over 150 enterprise members. The association members have basically covered Shanghai modern industries such as machinery 、electronics 、automobile 、computer industry 、telecommunication 、electrical appliance 、instruments & meters 、chemical industry 、biological medicine 、light industry 、textiles 、clothing 、non-ferrous metal 、building materials, as well as production service industry and modern service industry such as logistic industry、pharmaceutical industry 、automobile sales 、information service industry 、trading、exhibition industry 、finance. The enterprise members are mainly composed of large central state-owned enterprise in Shanghai 、influential industrial leader company and national well-known private company. |
